With digital watch faces becoming more and more popular, this design challenge was meant to practice on different screen layouts as well as design with the less common task of tracking time.
With variety being a main focus in the mind, each design was supposed to build a wide range of styles. Trying to incorporate creative solutions to display the time, creating unique displays, toying with colors, testing widgets and notifications, and focusing purely on the task of telling time.
The six designs all accomplished this goal of creative variety, as each one was even more different than the last. A fun challenge that tests the designer to find the sweet midpoint between functionality and uniqueness.
